Remote Sensing Map Data Processing for Emergency Disaster Response

In response to disaster-related aerial imagery requirements and the activation of the Central Emergency Operation Center, personnel of this Branch carry out the following tasks in accordance with their departmental responsibilities:
1. Maintain communication with liaison officers of relevant ministries and agencies to stay informed of disaster developments and act in accordance with directives from higher authorities.
2. Prepare aerial photography operations and collect geospatial data according to the type and scale of the disaster.
3. Process the collected geospatial data.
4. Provide the processed geospatial data for use in emergency response and decision-making.
During non-disaster periods, preparedness efforts are continuously reinforced. Once a disaster occurs, internal task allocation and external coordination mechanisms are immediately activated to ensure the timely provision of aerial and remote sensing data. This data serves as an essential reference for the Emergency Operations Center in disaster information collection, analysis, assessment, and response decision-making.
