Aerial photographs are vertically taken by the airborne camera on an aerial survey aircraft. The objects, landforms, and landscapes on the ground are permanently and authentically conserved on these photographs. However, all the aerial photographs are center projected and do not have fixed scale, they cannot be used as maps. Our branch has carried out aerial photographing since 1973. The aerial photographs before 2001 were black-and-white. Since 2001, the aerial photographs have gradually become colored.
